iPad : The Magic Tablet Digital Book

The way we use computers in a period not longer be changed, no longer rely on the keyboard called a QWERTY keyboard with the format, and use of the notebook, netbook, or smart phones, but will directly interact with the screen that Apple has recently introduced the product most recent of which is called iPad.

The whole world welcomes the presence of noisy iPad, the latest Apple products are expected to change the course of global information communication technology. IPad products will also change the way business is digitizing the industry slowly but surely kill the traditional media, like newspapers and magazines, as well as subsequent stages of the book printing industry.

As a product, iPad is not a new idea for a similar product ever tried to Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Inc., in 1991 when Apple introduced the Newton, but failed to be developed (see Kompas 25.10.1995). Bill Gates, Microsoft's success with developing the Windows operating system, ever predict similar iPad tablet computer will be a computing device that is used everywhere.

Combined futuristic hardware, such as the iPad, with applications available on Apple Store gives a different meaning for Apple's latest product is. Without applications, the iPad is a great iPod or iPhone giants on iPad series equipped with 3G SIM Card.

Attendance iPad make many people amazed, not only among consumers but also the information communication technology industry. As a product, iPad is a challenge and could be a new phenomenon as the equivalent of Apple and Steve Jobs introduced the iPod and iPhone, mobile devices and digital music players admired by millions of people around the world.

There are several reasons. When the iPods and the iPhone was introduced, there was a disturbing fascination of consumer interests, ranging from a futuristic design, compact, and simple, the operating system quick and easy to control, and availability of various applications make iPod and iPhone as a music console, digital video player, or handheld game.

The overall function of the iPod and iPhone are supported by the presence of Apple and the iTunes Store that allows consumers to buy directly a variety of applications, music, and digital video. All the strata and industry structure would be changed and shaken, particularly music labels, follow the business model adopted by Apple.

Other shocks will impact on the industry and book publishers along with the presence iPad. Through applications such as the iBook and the Kindle, a wide range of print media can easily be stored in the iPad and triggers the emergence of e-Reader device for easy access to books, magazines and electronic newspapers.

The magic tablet

Unlike other devices, iPad is a complete representation of the progress of information communication technology in the era of social networking which is full of traffic data and digital activities. Through the iPad, the overall digital activity was more closely at the touch of the hand using some features of wireless, high speed cellular connection, a digital compass pointer, 720p high-definition video, and accelerometer modifier screen display from landscape to portrait or vice versa.

As a computer, iPad not meet the needs of other users because it has no USB port or other means for use with additional devices that are often needed. IPad design only has a button to turn on or turn off the sound and the controls.

Another representation iPad is the expectation of industry, especially the traditional print and electronic media, the latest Apple products could save the continuance because wracked digital information in the internet network. For 20 years, digital information into products that can not be traded with the proliferation of Facebook or Twitter much faster than newspapers or magazines.

However, the iPad is not a magic tablet as an instant solution for traditional media is dying can not generate income streams in the midst of rapid information technology. That's because the iPad (including iPod and iPhone) without the portal is just the Apple Store or iTunes music or video player device designed attractive. This kind online portal that will determine whether the business information on future pay still have a chance or not.
